You can check your voice mail from anywhere or have it delivered to your email. Please note: your mailbox number is your phone number including area code such as 0881248811

How to personalize your voicemail greeting

On Cisco 7940, 7960 or 7970 series phone:

  1. Press the Messages button
  2. When asked for password, enter your phone number/mailbox number
  3. If you are accessing your voice mail for the first time, it will ask you to change your password. Please follow the voice prompt to personalize your mailbox greeting.

How to check your voicemail

From your Cisco 7940, 7960 or 7970 series phone:

  1. Press the Messages button
  2. Enter your password when prompted
  3. Follow the voice instructions

From any phone:

  1. Call your number (not your extension)
  2. Press the * (star) key during the voicemail greeting
  3. Enter your password and follow the voice instructions

How to forward calls to voicemail

If your service is voicemail enabled, incoming calls will go to your voicemail after the call is not answered within the pre-set duration. If you want to forward your call directly to voice mail, from your phone:

  1. Press CFwdAll
  2. Enter * (star) then your full telephone number (e.g. *0881258811)

To cancel forward to voice mail, press CFwdAll
